Crownline customer service school, 2011. Starcraft Factory Sales Training and Customer Service. She doesn’t miss out on a trip to any factory. Stop in and ask her about the trip to Crownline Hint it was COLD! Just this year she has over 90 hours of training! Pauline has been selling and servicing the boating family of Gagnon's for 25 years. Four years ago Pauline started another service at Gagnon's. She took her love for sewing and we offer Custom Canvas. She uses only the best marine grade Sunbrella Fabrics. If you stop in to see Pauline, just look up and she'll stop sewing to say hello! Stop in say Hi.
Kyle Gagnon is our oldest son! Kyle like his Dad was brought up around boats. He worked with Kurt and I in the business as a teen and did work study in his senior year of High School at Gagnon's. Kyle is now out on his own persusing his love of horses. He is a young aspiring horse trainer and is in a relationship with a wonderful young lady Devon. You will see pictures of them tubing with the family. Kyle is always willing to come home and help out when he can.
Kurt Gagnon
Kurt loves the business and has over 33 years experience! Bev and Don would bring Kurt to work every day. Bev said that he was great, put him in a boat with his toys and he would stay there all day! Don had Kurt building trailers for the business at the age of 13. By the time Kurt has 15 he had earned his way up the ladder to mechanic. Kurt gathered a huge amount of knowlege from Don and Bumper (John Gagnon)! Kurt went to his first outboard school in 1978 and has stayed certified ever since. Upon graudating from College in 1984 with a degree in Businees Management Kurt joined his Dad as Service Manager. Don was very proud to have Kurt on board. Kurt brought new ideas to the business. The biggest was to build the largest showroom in centeral maine. In October of 1987 the two did just that. It was beautiful but Don had a terrible accicdent in the spring of 1988, falling from our new building he suffered a closed head injury. This forced Kurt into the roll of General Manager. Kurt had some big shoes to fill but because he had worked so close with Don it was a bit easier. Kurt purchased the business from Dad and Mom in September of 2008! Kurt is always updating his knowledge, he is an Evinrude Sales Pro, Ranger Advantage Tour Pro, Crownline Sales and Service plus Crownline customer service pro, Starcraft trained in sales and customer service, Mercury product knowledge training, Tohatsu service specialist, certified boating saftey courses and holds certifications with BRP(Evinrude), Merc Curiser, Volvo Penta and Tohatsu. Stop by and say hello to Kurt!
Bill Brackett - Bill purchased his first boat from Gagnon's in 1998. Him and his wife Laura fell in love with the Maxum 1750 beautiful Red boat. As the relationship grew Bill upgraded his Maxum to a bigger boat in 2000. He purchased a 1900 SR3 Maxum and that summer Bill and Laura spent many evenings on the lakes enjoying their boat. Bill and his love of boating is what brings him to our sales staff. Our relationship with Bill and Laura started out as customers but as Bill worked shows with us and would come up to the shop on weekends it is clear that Bill and Laura are part of the Gagnon Family. Included in the family is Bill's son Billy. Bill sold his son Billy his Miro craft 1616 with a troller and a 40 hp E-Tec in 2008. Bill enjoys fishing, boating and helps Kurt test drive new boats. Bill is willing to help you purchase your new boat with his first hand knownledge of boating and his expertise he can get you into the right boat weather it be fishing, skiing or cruising on a pontoon boat!
Gavin Gagnon - Gavin is the youngest Gagnon but he can carry his own. He can back a boat better than the average person, which always surprises out customers. Gavin loves boating and working in the shop. Gavin started tuning engines last year and is a pro at winterizations. Gavin really does it all, he works on the web site, he stocks shelves, cleans the showroom and sets up displays. Gavin likes going to the lake with anyone of the mechanics for a test drive. Both Kurt and I are proud to have him in the business. Make sure to say hello and for our customers that follow Gavin check out the new pictures of him in the office. Stop by and say hello to Gavin!
This is Gavin after a day on the lake with one of very good customers! I forgot to tell you Gavin loves to fish!
